Odds and Ends

Hi Everyone. Sorry it's been a while since I last updated. I am trying to get better about posting so bear with me please. Progress not perfection right? A few things that have been going on: Christian and I found a house and will be moving on August 1st. It is a nice 2 bedroom home that we will enjoy a lot I'm sure. I am looking forward to finally getting to unpack all my boxes and set up my home. We have been living with my sister Tammi since March 21st. She has been so gracious to let us stay so long. We are very grateful for her hospitality. Thank you Tammi from the bottom of my heart.

Hold on a sec, Christian wants to butt in.

Hi all, Christian here. Just wanted to let you all know that my job is going well. I have several electricians interested in what I did in Naples, which is whole home lighting and lighting control design. For me, this is kind of "make or break" as far as this job goes. Pray for me if you would. Not that I get the jobs, but rather that God's will is done. I learned a long time ago not to always pray for what I want. I might not like what I get. I'd much rather have Him make that decision. Anywho, love ya'll and hope all is well. I'll give this thingy back to Suzi.

How RUDE....interrupting me like that! LOL

My oldest son Christopher and his girlfriend Kristi as most of you know are having a baby in January. I am so excited. It took me a minute to wrap my head around the idea of being a 30 something year old grandma but now that I have I am geeked! Anyway they got themselves an apartment a mile from my new house so I can help out with the baby once he or she gets here. They too are moving on August 1st. Yes, that means we are both moving on the same day. Or should I say evening into night. That is a Friday and well.....people gotta work. Their movers are our movers and we will go from one to the next. Thank goodness all my stuff is packed and stacked in my sisters garage. That makes our stuff quick and easy. Hopefully theirs will be the same. I'll let y'all know how it all goes.


My daughter Courtnie is doing alright. She is working at a restaurant called Cocino De Mino or something like that. I can't spell in spanish. It's a mexican restaurant. She is moving in with her Aunt Elaine for awhile trying to save up for a car and and apartment. She's not looking to forward to that but she really doesn't have much choice right now. Most of us have been there before. These are tough life lessons but we are most always better people once we get to the other side. However....she's my daughter. She will come out on the other side of things just fine. Look at me.....I turned out alright.



Brayden is doing great. He is so very good at being 2!!!!!!!!!!!! He keeps me hoppin that's for sure! My nephew Derek had an X-Box party last Friday for his 18th birthday and a friend of his brought over the game Rock Band and we couldn't keep Brayden out of the middle of it. He wanted to play with the guitars and the drums. When that didn't work he went for the microphone and started singing. As you can see from the photo on your left....Daddy was having fun singing as well. LOL You think that's funny...you should see the video. I'll post it later. Brayden absolutely loves music and anything to do with it. I'll have to post some pics another time. It was very cute.
